Dr. Akata Patel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Rutgers,The State University of New Jersey. Following this, she achieved her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Patel continued her education at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center completing a General Practice Residency Program where she enhanced her skills in all phases of dentistry, including surgical extractions, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Patel enjoys the meaningful relationships formed with patients over the years of caring for them. She is very passionate and dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA).

When Dr. Patel is not taking care of her patients, she enjoys time outdoors, fitness, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
